Estha is in her first year of secondary school and is 10 years old. She has lived at Centre Emmanuel with her younger sister since 2012 and is very good at school.
$150 will provide three trimesters of schooling. This investment offers a great amount of pride and hope for the children. All of the children are also participating in Church services, Junior Youth Group and Baha'i Study Circles, enriching their spiritual education.
The goal is for each child to take their education and continue on to learn a trade, thereby offering them an independent future. "The education of each child is compulsory…. In addition to this wide-spread education each child must be taught a profession, art, or trade, so that every member of the community will be enabled to earn his own livelihood. Work done in the spirit of service is the highest form of worship…."
